Julong Group’s public benefit volunteer team is composed of employees who want to contribute their own time to Julong’s CSR, most of whom are post-80s and post-90s.

     In the activity, volunteer Mu Caiyun, employed in the group’s R&D Department, introduced knowledge about keeping healthy in spring, mistakes in nurturing life and the harm of cooking oil fumes. Then she recommended some healthy food and dishes to have in the early summer.     

     In the healthy cooking contest part, three teams competed to make the most delicious dish using the healthy Holiday cooking oil. Each team contained one volunteer and one mother, whose dishes were judged by the audience mothers, with the winner awarded. 

     The community resident Tong Yumei said, “Each year on Mother’s Day, our community would organize related activities to care for the elderly. The activity held by Julong Group this year is so wonderful that we learn much helpful knowledge.”

     Outside the activity site, a volunteer squad came to Han Shufen’s home. Han was a seventy years old lady and lived alone. The volunteers brought her a bunch of carnation and made dumplings for Han, who was moved and said, “Tomorrow is Mother’s Day, and I’m very happy not only because I’m a mother, but because I have so many ‘sons’ and ‘daughters’ in the society, who have been giving me so much help when my own children are not around. And they share a same name — public benefit volunteer.”

     The volunteer team members expressed that they would continue to practice Julong’s mission of “developing the industry and serving the people” and spread love to the society.
